How and why are things made? Who makes them? Design is a fundamental part of our society and at times plays a huge role in how we get through the day. The logo on your coffee cup, the choice of fabric on your automobile’s interior, the height of a doorknob - all of these things are carefully (sometimes not so carefully) considered. That consideration is and integral part of the design process. In season 2 of “Abstract”, we follow 6 designers while focusing on their own individual, unique design process.
Featured artists include: Olafur Eliasson, Cas Holman, Neri Oxman, Ian Spalter, Ruth Carter & Jonathan Hoefler
This is a series of images I created for the Abstract Season 2 marketing campaign.

"We are convinced that any business needs its wild ducks. And in IBM we try not to tame them." - Former IBM Chairman Tom Watson, Jr
"The way we see it, the wild ducks are the creative ones. They're the restless explorers who are always looking for a new angle on a big problem. We've been spending a lot of time with people like this lately and we're telling their stories in deeply reported monthly podcasts. WildDucks features innovators from around the globe in hopes of inspiring you, our listeners, and demonstrating now a combination of curiosity, ambition, and technology can change the world." - IBM

Alien Bootcamp is the home of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender animation. The goal with the packaging was to create a type driven campaign to perfectly explain the world of ABC. Being that the programming was made up of an ecclectic batch of insanity, the best way to describe it is through word jumbles. So spin the wheel and whatever three words pop up: thats what Alien Bootcamp is all about.

Regardless of your political leanings, it's beyond the shadow of a doubt that Edward Snowden is an extremely polarizing figure in American & World history. His actions against the U.S. government put him in a tremendously dangerous position, while opening the publics' eyes to the scope of U.S. spy programs, both foreign and domestic.
In 2014, WIRED magazine gained access to arguably the most wanted man on the planet. They were able to obtain a face-to-face interview with Mr. Snowden, allowing him to open up and tell his own story.

"Few Hollywood directors can match Christopher Nolan’s ambition, skill, and mind-bending story sense. For our December issue, the man behind Memento, Inception, the Dark Knight trilogy, and Interstellar brings his formidable talents to WIRED as our guest editor. Breaking the issue into five dimensions, we explore everything from the secrets of Nolan’s films and influences to his interest in the complex science of black holes and spacetime.
